Chaklet_Cookiee - :D thanks! yeah i do traditional on the side. but its harder to show. and its never finished either :/

Cha! thanks! yeah, its taking me a while to get back into the rythm. but im excited too!

Algenpfleger - ah man. thaaaaaanks!!! means quite a lot coming from you.

hm! im slowly getting back into a good pace for studies.
it clicked for me that drawing is much more fun to draw and look when there are stories behind it.
idk what i have been doing all this time.

here is some unfinished stuff from the last couple of days.
i would normally hide this, but i think that this is a place to show your weakness so you can fix it!

Hey nice stuff there mate! What i'd say to you is studies should take you about 1 to 2 hrs, otherwise, it's completely innefective! take some to really mimic whay you see, understand the physics ad rules of art behind it, don't just copy, upgrade and improve it! If you, for example, make a study of a portrait, then, you are obligated to make a portrait from imagination and apply what you have learned, that is one great way to improve and really stick what you've studied in your head. From what I have seen, you seem to have a good understanding of volume in your digital stuff, keep that up and improve what you can! keep it up ^_-!

*whispers* sooooon, if you join as well

tukos - :D thanks dude!

wavenwater - thanks man! yeah i try to apply what i can.

soo....
just pencils this time.
im having quite a hard time...with everything.
i had forgotten how hard and taxing on your self-esteem studying was.
i guess i was for too long on a comfortable place.

still having trouble coming up with "what to draw" or "ideas"
its been a problem since i was a kid. i thought i had fixed it. but aparently not.
gonna try to explore more storytelling in my personal stuff. seems like it is a fruitful field to explore

damnn going back to the basics. i like it.

the brush work on the study is gross.

Really eclectic mix of stuff in here. Does make giving specific crit harder, as it's tricky to tell what you're wanting to improve on! and I can say that as it's an issue I've had myself for the longest time! Spending a little longer on some of your studies might help when it comes to doing the imagination stuff - I tend to find it hangs in my head for longer when I've really had to noodle with a study to get it looking just right. Might also help to pick an area of study and focus on that for a bit longer instead of jumping from one thing to another (something I'm guilty of too!) First face study on this page is awesome though, really love the subtle colour harmony in it - would love to see more like that!

Jarradl - i got no right to said roman child if i dont do my duties as a responsible parent and post daily.

Zephyri - Thanks man! ive been noticing a lot of people telling me to do longer stuff. i guess i will have to!

chazillah - hahahahahhaha thanks. im quite proud of those fishes. world class storytelling.

Yooooooo.
non-drawing-related things got in the way yesterday.
but thats an excuse. here is what i drew yesterday.
im just a bit late(22hours or so)

so i did some longer drawings. 10 min or so. they are still super unfinished.
even tho i give myself the time limit i do my best to not rush it. i never learn anything when i rush.
i just gotta get the pacing right to get those to a more finished look.

jarrad, cuz i needz to paintz. im leaving the actual long ones for painting.

yo! here is the proper update for today!

painting the eye on a diferent layer worked. i think.
i always fuck up the soft gradients on the cheeks.

and well...
if anyone recognize where that sketch is from.
all those feels.
i was just drawing a random head. but it quickly turned into a full fledged fanart.

Some may say i'm a dreamer butt
im not the only one.

nice portrait painting. it looks nice. nice. If only i could do that.. a boy can dream though.

OH right.. okay.. anyway.. I like the pencil portraits as well.. some of the head sizes and constructions are abit wonky
but I'm pretty sure you can see that.
It looks like you are thinking of the large masses and that is super hot.

please continue to be hot and bruce will be all over you

chazillah - thanks tiatia!

Jarradl - thanks man! construction is wonky all over.

Getting super frustrated with eyes. gonna take a few days and just focus on them.
also construction is still funky.
on tilted faces the features are getting a weird slope.
doesnt help that i dont know how to draw those features.
suddenly a month seems too short to study heads O.o

some digis in the works. not showable yet tho :/

last one is really strong construction-wise. nice work :D

you're simply misaligning the eyes sometimes. and i think you're not understanding how eyelids work.
just draw the underlying bone structure, place the 'balls' correctly in the sockets, then focus on the surrounding flesh
if you get the surrounding flesh right then it's just a matter of placing iris accurately afterwards *_ *

good luck pedrororo, eyes are hard
