Hi felix :3 I checkd out your instagram and you have very excellent lines. wit your imagination skulls try to think structurally. so i see you used a circle for one of thejm, so then the skull should follow the form of a sphere, such is the center line. i can draw if you need an example

yeah nice work, I think just spending more time to properly get proportions and volumes would be a good idea.

You should post most of what you are drawing. I love your linework but you should put a light source so there's a clear sense of volume, think of Wesley Burt pencil sketches.

I agree, sometimes I focus only on anatomy and not in the light source, Wesley Burt is a beast!

the way to aproach the skull is very similar to a head, but the skull has more details and a but different proportions, it's important like 2Study said, to have a clear perspective, having the eye's sockets in proportion and and the jaw. always think with perspective and basic shapes even when is a portrait.

Yes!, This is very helpful thankyou!,
I kinda know how to make certain portraits in some angles because I drew those angles a lot of times but when it comes to structure the human head or skull I struggle, I'm gonna keep studying and practicing from imagination!

very clean lines you have here, one thing is that you need to add volume using values, no very detailed but big shapes of shadows.

Wow, I agree, that is some super clean work man!
I would be grateful for a tutorial on your colouring method, I'm guessing it's super easy once you know to do it but it's really effective.
EDIT: figured it out! :D

One thing you could try is starting on a non white background, that would allow you to bring out the highlights more.
Or, you could multiply the lot lightly and then texture out the big shapes of the highlighted areas.
Cheers!

You're off to a nice start in your SB, Felix! :) Keep it up and you'll find freedom, LOL. You have some very nice, clean linework. Keep doing that. Practice dat anatomy some more, though, the proportions on a bunch of your characters are off a bit. Just keep practicing man, your stuff looks pretty cool. :P Can't wait to see where you go with this.
