Alberto_ wrote:the way to aproach the skull is very similar to a head, but the skull has more details and a but different proportions, it's important like 2Study said, to have a clear perspective, having the eye's sockets in proportion and and the jaw. always think with perspective and basic shapes even when is a portrait.
Apelsin wrote:As others have already said, your lines are dope. Would love to see more!
Alberto_ wrote:very clean lines you have here, one thing is that you need to add volume using values, no very detailed but big shapes of shadows.
Alexander Lidström wrote:Wow, I agree, that is some super clean work man!
I would be grateful for a tutorial on your colouring method, I'm guessing it's super easy once you know to do it but it's really effective.
EDIT: figured it out! :D
One thing you could try is starting on a non white background, that would allow you to bring out the highlights more.
Or, you could multiply the lot lightly and then texture out the big shapes of the highlighted areas.
(oh and have a follow on insta xD )
Sagittarius-A-star wrote:You're off to a nice start in your SB, Felix! :) Keep it up and you'll find freedom, LOL. You have some very nice, clean linework. Keep doing that. Practice dat anatomy some more, though, the proportions on a bunch of your characters are off a bit. Just keep practicing man, your stuff looks pretty cool. :P Can't wait to see where you go with this.
