Third page hype~.

Regarding the snowy piece from the second page, I think the lighting is fine. Overcast light setups don't produce drastic shadows. I mean I guess you could add them in for personal reasons, but I think it's fine as is.

I know these are mostly all older works you're posting, but the volume of them is still impressive. I'm trying to build up my art stamina at the moment.

I think the only thing that sticks out to me for a crit is that the valentines one seems to have a bit of wonky perspective. The top of the mailbox unit shows a lot of the top surface but the characters don't seem to reflect that, they seem a like we're getting a little too much of the sides of them but not enough of a top down. I could be wrong, I'm still working my way through perspective myself.

Enydimon - Yeah, I think you're right. That one was for a 1 hr challenge so I didnt give it too much thought but I think as I learn more about figure drawing I'll definitely focus more on how perspective affects the figure

I haven't been feeling too good as of late so I haven't posted a lot. I have some backgrounds here I did for a visual novel game jam. I did them over the course of a month and a half during early February/ all of March.

I did some portrait studies in April according to some things I learned about the Loomis way to draw heads from Proko vids. I tried focusing on the placement and alignment of the facial features. Then it's a good opportunity to do some value studies and also practice painting in Clip Studio Paint. (It's honestly a good program.)

Let me see if I can find some sketches haha... I've been trying to get more detailed with my sketches like trying to clearly depict forms so I have a better idea of how to construct things in space. Drew a lot of heads... I think this summer I'd like to focus on anatomy/drawing figures in space.

Also drew this for Light Grey Art Lab's Camouflage exhibit. There's a lot of things I feel like I could have done better like composition and colors. I found the theme challenging and the deadline was tight but it was a good opporturnity to have. Also wow how do you draw arms haha.

Trying to figure out what I've already posted, what I haven't posted, what I don't want to post, and what I'm even allowed to post haha.

Studying ideas for that space zine illustration. Those are some thumbnails that inevitably became that spaceport zine in an earlier post.

This is a wip for a zine.

The completed piece. I feel like the colors are a little distracting from the focal point...

Oh yeah and I made a some brushes for glitter for Clip Studio Paint. I don't know if they'll be of use but I thought it was fun haha. The brush engine is has a lot more options than photoshop's brush engine (which I have yet to fully understand). You can download the brushes here.

I got a hold of Michael Hampton's Figure Drawing Design and Invention and using it in conjunction to watching Proko figure drawing videos. Did some studies of the spine. I feel like I don't really understand the pelvis well.
