Privet Sasha! The painting looks great, really captures the depressing Russian winter. ;) Only the tree in the right foreground is a bit lonely, I would try to integrate it better, maybe with some twigs, bushes or something like that. Also I think the boy in the background is too saturated.

The gestures are a very solid start. You have already done the most important groundwork to make the next step and become more analytical with them, and especially to focus on a solid and efficient process/strategy. Lots of people think that gesture is just making quick lines, swoosh swoosh and voila, like a Picasso. Gestures is very difficult intellectual and analytical work, and it goes together with construction. Gesture and construction are two sides of the same coin. Gestures without understanding of construction is just silly swoosh swoosh without structure. Construction without gesture is too dry and boring.

So I would recommend first to take time and analyze what you see. Identify the big masses, the big forms. Anatomy is not so important in this. Seeing the big masses with clarity is more important. This is especially important in construction. It's not so easy at first because the untrained eye has trouble seeing the figure „as a whole“, so the trick is to squint the eyes, so that the picture becomes blurry, then the brain automatically ignores details and focuses on the big shapes. Especially in gestures squinting is important. Play in your head how it would make most sense to draw the figure. Get rid of time limit, it's not important. So take your time, analyze, make a plan, execute the plan.

Then, when you're comfortable with getting the big masses, it's much easier to get into the details and anatomy, especially because then you already have a clear process and strategy that can guide you when there is a problem.

thanks, Imbalantus, i watch yours sketchbook (it is in bookmarks ) as example, and want same skill))
I realy slowpoke => time limit
and because of it I realy don't have time to think how better simplificate and missing with proportions. Brain is on fire)
work like directly proportional : more time and tonn of referenses= better result, but fast from head =shit
I'I 'try to do some cunstructive
About winter: i thought boy is one of centers of composition. there is saturation for) thought how to separate the red from red. That the other color is not approached. Most fail in scales)) working on it)

some new shit:

Hi Sasha, welcome to permanoobs! Coincidentally, I am learning Russian but my Russian is not as good as your English (I don't even know Cyrillic fully yet, I just learn with the English alphabet at the moment.)

Imbalantus gave you some great feedback. I wouldn't worry so much if you cannot find the correct proportions on the shorter gestures, it will either come in time or can be fixed up later when it matters. Shorter gestures are usually just to get your hand and your brain warmed up without distracting yourself with larger details.

I really like your winter piece, that dog has a lot of character and that person in the background looking at their shoe really adds to the humour. If I had to critique something it would be the couple's proportions don't look as nice as the dog's or the person in the background. They're not nearly as fun to look at right now.

Thank, Enydimon!
all you need to learn in russian is "vodka" "matreshka" "balalaika" xD
couple's proportions - mb head is too big and they have gesture problem, but i thought not to do them very realistic, some cartoony effect

Wow, your figures are a lot better than it looked like in the 1st post. Also great that you're using 3d (btw, it's most certainly not cheating).

Honestly they are both good! Maybe 2 with the face of 1. I think that's because the shadow under her arm and the clothes look a bit more natural.
