paint in color or get banned :D

no but seriously man, people talk about value a whole lot but often enough it's also just tempting to just stick with value and talk yourself into believing it's something that needs to come first when in reality it's just not as brainbreaking as painting directly in color. don't be afraid man! do the color studies! pencils are looking real nice dood, stick with those and in general keep up the hard work!

Good start, but don't be afraid to take the time to really dig into a study, or do more of them and set a specific time restriction.

Looking pretty good, just keep at those fundamentals ! It's probably best at this point to just keep a good balance between painting studies in grayscale and painting studies in color, or at least check your color studies in black and white to make sure the values read corectly.
Also be sure to put daily practice into anatomy and gesture drawing! : D

I see improvement. Keep on doing what you're doing. I'd just say try and put just a little bit more effort into each study. Seemingly unimportant subtleties can play the biggest roles in getting convincing paintings. I think you'll catch onto them at this rate. Keep it up!

Pssshhhh, total noob does not describe what Im seeing one bit dude. You've got a good eye for value, proportions and color so it seems. Its good to tell yourself that your work needs improving, but don't let it deter you from showing it off. lol Keep up the good work. This last study is effin' sweeeet btw:D

Do some face constructions! A lot of your stuff seems to be coming along, like the photo studies, but doing construction will give you the simplified mesh underneath that makes it easier to lay things out and build things :) Keep it up!
