Lol Zdr Alex. We're probably gonna have to comment in English. I can't believe you made a sb. That's awesome! As for crits ofc.:
Watch the values, everything is on the same ground/plane, nothing pops put (it's also a bit too bright). The neck looks a bit fat or as if she/he has a double chin. Otherwise I like it, I didn't know you could paint like that. Nice edge control on the neck. OOO this is gonna be so cool! Just continue posting!

Hi! :D

"sketch3.jpg" and "sketch2.jpg" show your confidence with line. Lots of personality in those characters. Now let's see you work with value! Scott Robertson's Gnomon DVDs for matte rendering would give you a solid foundation. It's so important to have a systematic method for using value. Not only will it give your drawings and paintings dimension, but you'll be able to invent convincing light sources from imagination, understand why things look the way they do in real life, and apply color in ways that enhance form.

I'm looking forward to watching your progress!

I think you need to do master studies and work on fundamentals to make your paintings more realistic, but so far your imagination seems good so I'm looking forward to your improvement!

Those pencil drawings really are great! Still am working on getting such a steady hand. Yet the last portrait looks a bit dull. I know it's not finished yet, but even if it's going to be something with a scary moods, I'd use a greater range of hues. I'd recommend some master studies for the right colors, unless you have access to some real-life studies of faces/skin, that would be best of course. =>

Alex, hi, this is actually pretty impressive, compared to the previous portraits, but you should try to control the edges a bit more. I made a little overpaint, hope you don't mind, I'll show it to you later and try to explain some things. REALLY good start and progress. One of the things you should work on is refining. It's pretty good, but at this point you should start cleaning/polishing the face and clothing.

Well some of the digital paintings and kind of blurry, I would add a bit more edge and detail in certain areas to make things more solid.
You're doing a lot of anatomy and poses that's very good, but always think in 3D when making the studies. That woman from National Geographic for example looks a bit flat and blurred, so don't forget about Shape.
In the first lizard-creature you did for example, although it's very light I can get a bit more of shape, don't forget the drawing when you're painting. drawing is the Foundation.
Nevertheless some of your poses are very well shaped, so you're definitely on the right way. You go! ;)

That last one is a huge step up. Those are the kind of values and edges you want to aim for.

Right now I'd suggest working on forms. Some of the issues with your other portraits are that the facial features lack proper depth and form. Also try slowing down and pushing your rendering a little more, I feel like you're stopping too soon and cheating yourself on pieces that could be even better.

Keep it up!

Enydimon said exactly what I meant. I can see the flow and see you're able to put the structure, but I would spend a bit more of time solidifying the shapes, even if it's just in a focused area or else they will all look unfinished. The last pencil one Actually looks finished. I guess it's just a matter of time until you get used to digital. Cheers!

You’re definitely improving! I’m not really in the position to crit, but as previously said start looking more into the form and when you paint think about it wrapping around the structure. Keep up the work :)

Really like your traditional work! One thing I feel like you could improve on though, is color. Some of your colors are kind of muddy. Color studies from photos and from life help a lot!
